IRONWORKSMUSEUM

Dalsbruk Ironworksmuseum is a cultural historical museum which opened its first permanent exhibition in 1983. Today the museum consists of six buildings and 11 charcoal ovens. The little Norrbacka cabins exhibit the living conditions of the Dalsbruk ironworks workers in different decades 1890-1960. The other museum buildings concentrate on the ironworks history starting from 1686 when the first blast furnace was built in Dalsbruk.
