Accessibility is a challenge when conserving cultural heritage buildings with difficult access. If you are planning a visit, please be in contact and we can try together to find a solution so that a museum visit can be comfortably arranged. We are all the time working on making our museums better accessible.
The museum buildings in the Ironworksmuseum are not easily accessible with a wheelchair. There are stairways to the buildings and high doorsteps. Also the museum is located on a steep hill. To the exhibition in the Bläckhornet building it is now possible to carry a wheelchair. Please call us beforehand or when you are here so that we can come and serve you outside.
When coming by bus you can get off at the final stop in Dalsbruk. Walking distance to the museum from there is about 900 meters.
